After dealing with water intrusion and the discovery of mold, an exploratory investigation and resolution was created by teaming up with IEA (Institute for Environmental Assessment). The base of the exterior wall on the effected elevation was disassembled and made watertight, as well as the removal and replacement of the windows.

Judd Allen Group, in conjunction with a Structural
Engineering firm from San Francisco, conducted a building survey of
the existing conditions of a 50 year old warehouse building in San Francisco,
which Room and Board was considering purchasing for a retail location.
The survey included a cost estimate to remove an entire mezzanine that
was added at a later date, and to expose the original full height clerestory
space.
